Born and raised a Midwesterner, I came home to Iowa after living many years in Colorado.
I graduated from Drake University with an Art major
and English Literature minor, and have worked professionally as an Interior Designer, Interior Design Instructor, Set Designer, Editor-in-Chief and Co-Publisher of a five-state regional magazine focusing
on art, architecture and interior design in the West.
While privately, on nights, weekends, and any time I can find available, I write contemporary women's fiction and romantic suspense.
RED DREAMS, PARIS BLUES is the first novel in a planned series featuring Claire and company--the three Martelli women. I am currently in the initial stages of querying agents and editors for publication.
Also in progress, REVOLUTION, features Emma Douglas, an historian on faculty in Boulder, CO who has written
a revised view of war and revolution in America--a work both praised and criticized. A militia group based in the Colorado back country informs Emma they have found her husband who purportedly died in a plane crash in the mountains. The group is planning a cyber attack
on the U.S. government and requires her expertise on revolution and her national prominence to help them
if she wants to get her husband back alive.
